TITAN Group has achieved a significant milestone by being recognized as one of the world’s most sustainable companies in 2024 by TIME magazine. This accolade places TITAN among only three cement companies globally to be included in this prestigious list, highlighting the company’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. TITAN’s purpose of “making the world around us a safe, sustainable, and enjoyable place to live” continues to guide its efforts.

The recognition from TIME underscores TITAN’s ongoing dedication to integrating sustainable practices into its operations, aligning with global sustainability standards, and transparently communicating its progress to stakeholders. Key factors contributing to TITAN’s high ranking include its ambitious 1.5°C science-based targets, a top A score from CDP, and continuous progress towards achieving CO2 reduction targets and ESG goals for 2025 and beyond. Additionally, TITAN’s adherence to the UN Global Compact and participation in the UNFCCC Race to Zero initiative have played crucial roles in this recognition.

The rigorous methodology developed by TIME and data firm Statista for evaluating the world’s most sustainable companies considered various external ESG ratings, commitments, and environmental and social Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These KPIs, reported in compliance with international standards such as GRI, SASB, and TCFD, include emission intensity, emission reduction rates, energy intensity, renewable energy use, gender diversity on boards and in leadership positions, gender pay gap, work safety, and employee turnover rates.
