About Cementos Argos

Cementos Argos is a growing multinational consolidating its presence in sixteen countries and territories with emerging and developed economies. It has been building history for almost eighty years and today is the number one cement and ready-mix concrete producer in Colombia and one of the most important in the Caribbean and Central America sector.

After successfully closing the transaction that combines our operations in the United States with Summit Materials, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), Argos is now the largest shareholder with a 31% stake and three representatives on the Board of Directors. Additionally, the new entity becomes a strategic ally to supply cement and other materials and license intellectual property, among other collaborations.

Argos has almost 4,000 employees in its regional offices, 7 cement plants, 46 ready-mix plants, 6 aggregates plants, 7 clinker grinding plants, 11 ports and terminals, 639 mixer trucks, and 4 ships under the Time Charter modality.

Its total installed capacity is 24 million tons of cement. In 2023, it exported to 28 destinations.
