Josilene Ticianelli Vannuzini Ferrer holds a PhD in Environmental Science (IEE/PROCAM/USP). Her doctoral research focuses on carbon markets in China. She is a Senior Analyst for International Cooperation and Climate Change at CETESB and served as an Advisor to the Presidency (2019 to 2023.) She was also a Full Professor at FAAP in the Schools of International Relations and Economics (2008–2023). She is a Professor at the CETEB Graduate School, a public speaker, and a columnist. She has been an observer at UNFCCC COPs since 2005, is an advisory member of the Climate Commission of the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP) and of the IASP, and was a Curator of Climate Week SP – 2025. She is the author of foundational publications on the subject.
