An Environmental Geochemist by study, Jonathan is passionate about impacting positive, large-scale environmental change in the world. He began his career with three years in South African mining; working as a geologist in Iron Ore exploration, Platinum ore control
and then sensor evaluation and technology development, all for Anglo American.

Thereafter, he joined SpectraFlow Analytics to pursue the incumbent change from bulk ore control to precision advanced process control in the minerals industry. Jonathan believes that one significant way of achieving this is through the use of safe, low-energy sensing technologies like online NIR spectrometry. As of 2022, he works as a consultant Sales Specialist for SpectraFlow Analytics out of Johannesburg, South Africa.
