Duncan has a deep understanding of the European regulatory framework & market dynamics across the energy transition, including relevant EU regulations such as Renewable Energy Directive III, ReFuelEU Aviation, FuelEU maritime, ETS & CBAM, International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) & International Maritime Organization (IMO), & offtaker identification for e-methane, e-methanol, SAF, hydrogen & ammonia.
Duncan also established io’s systems engineering framework, bringing value to the front end of developments, and has led studies across io’s portfolio, including Power-to-X, CCUS, Sustainable Aviation Fuel & Strategic Consulting.
