Ana Gállego is the HSE Director at CIMPOR and Executive Committee Member for Portugal and Cape Verde, with over 20 years of consulting experience and 15 years in leadership positions in industrial safety. Known for her disciplined and results-driven approach, she excels in implementing HSE management systems and behavior-based safety programs, ensuring the protection of people, assets, and the environment.
Throughout her career, Ana has led international teams on strategic projects aimed at reducing risks and continuously improving occupational health and safety standards. Her professional journey includes prominent roles, such as Country HSE Manager for CIMPOR in China, as well as positions in industrial safety consulting and risk management. Ana also has a solid academic background, holding Master’s degrees in Occupational Health and Safety Management and Urban Fire Safety, alongside certifications in integrated systems auditing and NEBOSH programs.
As CIMPOR’s representative in forums such as CEMBUREAU (European Commission), Ana actively contributes to shaping health and safety policies in the industry. With extensive experience and dedication, she is a recognized leader in HSE management within complex industrial environments.
