Messer Introduces Innovative “Carbon Capture as a Service” with ZeCarb

Messer, a global leader in industrial, medical, and specialty gases, has launched a new service dubbed “ZeCarb” (Zero Carbon), aimed at revolutionizing carbon management in industries with high CO2 emissions. This new offering, “Carbon Capture as a Service,” comes as a strategic response to the increasing demand for effective solutions to mitigate CO2 emissions from industrial activities.

The International Energy Agency (IEA) reports that achieving a net-zero scenario by 2050 will require preventing approximately 1.2 gigatonnes of CO2 emissions annually through Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS) technologies. Messer’s “ZeCarb” positions itself as a critical component in this global effort, leveraging the company’s extensive experience in CO2 recovery.
