The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) joins the International Conference in Brazil

Rodrigo García Ramos Tosta, from the Environmental Division, The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) has confirmed his participation as a panelist at the  Sustainability and ESG International Conference and Exhibition 2026 to include Industry 5.0 (Brazil, Sao Paolo, World Trade Center, November 24–25). He will discuss BNDES’s efforts in the forestry sector and how we can contribute to offsetting hard-to-abate emissions.

About the Speaker

Rodrigo holds a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from PUC-RJ, a postgraduate degree in Environmental Management and Technologies from the Polytechnic School of University of São Paulo and a master’s degree in Sustainable Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. Before joining BNDES in 2011, he worked at one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world for 10 years.

He began her career at BNDES in the Capital Markets Area and since 2016 has been part of the BNDES Environment Area team, having already worked on socio-environmental risk, climate and biodiversity agendas and was responsible for the Institutional Relations of the Amazon Fund. He currently conducts cross-cutting agendas of the BNDES Environment Area
