The GO4ZERO programme represents a massive, deep transformation journey for Holcim’s cement operations in Western Europe. Vincent will pull back the curtain on how they are replacing an outdated, high-carbon production process with a groundbreaking new industry reference.

Attendees will get an inside look at how GO4ZERO:

Triggers every possible lever—from raw materials to the final cement portfolio—to drastically scale up circularity and slash emissions.

Builds robust partnerships within the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) value chain to target near-zero carbon production in the coming years.

Provides actionable strategies that other industrial leaders can adapt to accelerate their own net-zero timelines.

Don’t miss your chance to learn from the pioneers rewriting the rules of sustainable manufacturing. Secure your spot today to connect with industry leaders, discover cutting-edge tech, and drive real climate action.

About the Speaker

Vincent Michel is a dedicated industrial leader guiding Holcim Belgium towards net-zero cement production. As a civil engineer holding advanced degrees in health and safety, environment, and management, he balances technical expertise with operational excellence. Over his career, he has served as a strategic P&L leader for multiple Holcim divisions, successfully managing among others alternative fuels and raw materials co-processing and ready-mix concrete businesses. These collective contributions to industrial decarbonization led to his recognition as Belgium’s Sustainability Professional of the Year 2025.

A central focus of his current work is leading the GO4ZERO transformation programme in Obourg, where he actively spearheads the development and execution of cutting-edge carbon capture and storage (CCS) initiatives. By securing critical EU funding and establishing complex partnerships along the value chain, he remains committed to transitioning heavy industry into a sustainable, low-carbon future
