Richard (Yu) Jiang, MIET

Richard (Yu) Jiang, MIET  is currently a Doctoral Researcher at Institute for Manufacturing (IfM), University of Cambridge as a Cambridge Trust Scholar. His PhD research is about Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) of Cementitious Materials for Construction of Buildings and Infrastructure where he defined an improved parameter for quality control of 3D printed structures. Richard (Yu) Jiang has published five articles on cementitious materials with another two in the pipeline.

Richard (Yu) Jiang, MIET  has been recognised by receiving multiple awards including the ASTM International Emerging Professional Award, speaking at world-class conferences such as ASTM ICAM 2023 and IOP PGS Printing for the Future, and being selected into multiple industrial committees such as the BSI and ISO committees for Additive Manufacturing and ASTM committees for Cement, Composite Materials, and Additive Manufacturing Technologies. He is a peer reviewer for world-class journals and conferences, including Construction and Building Materials, Journal of Building Engineering, Composites Part B: Engineering, Journal of Testing and Evaluation, and ASME MSEC 2024.
