Tara Carraro serves as SVP and Chief Communications Officer for U. S. Steel where she is responsible for reputation management and communications strategies. She also has responsibility for Community Relations and non-governmental Stakeholder Engagement. Tara joined U. S. Steel in March 2022 and is a member of the executive team.
She recently served as Executive Vice President & Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA), and prior to joining NWNA, Tara was Senior Vice President, Communications for WWE® – an integrated media organization. Before her time at WWE, she held a variety of Corporate Affairs/Communications roles at Heineken USA, the Altria family of companies and Pepsi-Cola International.
Ms. Carraro serves on the Board of Trustees for the U. S. Steel Foundation and is the Executive Sponsor for U. S. Steel’s sustainability employee resource group. She is also a member of the PRSA, Arthur Page Society and W50 Communications.
