Mahmoud Mohsen is a distinguished expert in energy efficiency and sustainability, with over 20 years of experience, primarily within the cement industry. He holds a degree in Energy Engineering, earned in 2004, and has built a career focused on optimizing energy performance across complex industrial operations.

Mahmoud is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and Certified Measurement & VerificaƟon Professional (CMVP) through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He is also an ISO 50001 Lead Auditor accredited by IRCA and certified by UNIDO in motor system and compressed air system optimization. Additionally, he holds a licensed Energy

Auditor certficaton from Egypt’s Industrial ModernizaƟon Centre (IMC).

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Engineering, specializing in New and Renewable Energy, Mahmoud continues to deepen his expertse in sustainable energy solutons. As General Manager of Sustainability at Misr Cement Group, he leads the company’s strategy on energy management, carbon footprint reducƟon, and compliance with internatonal sustainability standards. His work is central to transforming Misr Cement into a regional model of
environmental responsibility and industrial innovation.
