Luis Miguel Echeverri is the Carbon Neutrality Strategy Manager at Cementos Argos. He is a Colombian engineer with a Master’s degree in Applied Analytics from Columbia University, among other studies.
Over his 12-year tenure in the cement industry, he has gained experience across various areas of Cementos Argos, including Supply chain, Corporate finance, M&A, and Corporate strategy. He has successfully led the financial structuring of Argos’ calcined project, and throughout his career, he has developed a holistic view of the business and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities the industry faces.
Now, as part of the corporate sustainability team, he is responsible for managing Argos’ carbon neutrality strategic framework and the development of financial instruments to support the strategy establishment.
