Lilian Pachon

Lilian Pachon is currently the Optimization and Environmental Manager at the Saint Constant Cement Plant in Canada and has recently been appointed as the OPG Director for the North Star Project in Canada. She joined Lafarge in 2005 and brings with her 20 years of experience in Environment, Process, and Quality within the cement industry. As a Chemical Engineer, she is deeply passionate about industrial sustainability and has always been committed to driving positive environmental impact.

Throughout her career, she has thrived in roles that allow her to act as a facilitator and promoter of cross-functional collaboration. She takes pride in identifying and resolving bottlenecks in production, quality, process, and environmental aspects. Her commitment to sustainable development has driven her to lead and contribute to numerous projects focused on the use of low-carbon fuels and alternative raw materials in cement production—key initiatives in her ongoing mission to reduce emissions and cut CO2 emissions.

On a personal note, she is the proud mother of three children who are one of her greatest sources of motivation. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her kids through activities like hiking, traveling, hot yoga, and scuba diving. Originally from Colombia, she now lives in French-speaking Canada, embracing both her cultural roots and the rich Canadian heritage.
