
Kerry Sutton, PE, LEED AP, is the Executive Director of NEU: An ACI Center of Excellence for Carbon Neutral Concrete in Farmington Hills, Michigan. She leads NEU’s mission to foster global collaboration and accelerate the adoption and use of reduced-carbon concrete technologies. Ms. Sutton brings more than 25 years of extensive experience in the concrete sector, with a strong background in design, construction, and materials. Â
 She was previously a Code Advocacy Engineer for the American Concrete Institute (ACI). In this position, she was responsible for advancing the acceptance and adoption of ACI codes, standards, educational and certification programs, both nationally and internationally. Â
Prior to her current role at ACI, she held positions with the Michigan Concrete Association as Director of Engineering and with Holcim, Inc. as a Technical Service Engineer and Corporate Environmental Engineer. Â
Ms. Sutton received her BS in Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University and MS in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University. She is a registered professional engineer in the State of Michigan. Â
