
Julia Garbini is President of the Concrete Advancement Foundation.  In this role, she leads the selection, project management and implementation of the Foundation’s various research and education programs, including the agenda of the Foundation’s largest investment in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Concrete Sustainability Hub (MIT CSHub).  She also spearheads the Foundation’s outreach and communications efforts, as well as oversight of the Foundation’s finances and endowment. Â
  Mrs. Garbini joined the Foundation as in 2004 and has been affiliated with the concrete and construction industries since 1991, including past roles with the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and Associated Builders and Contractors.  Prior to joining the industry, she worked on Capitol Hill in the U.S. House of Representatives.Â
