Mrs. Gabriela Ciulacu Bițan is a senior policy officer at the Department of Sustainable Development within the Chancellery of the Prime-Minister of Romania, and serves as member of the National Contact Point for Responsible Business Conduct, existing in countries which adhere to the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. Since 2022, she has been coordinating the development of the Romanian Sustainability Code, a free tool designed for companies to simplify sustainability reporting and enhance transparency. With over 25 speaking engagements at national and international conferences, she actively promotes this reporting tool, which is set to be updated to align with EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive requirements. Mrs. Ciulacu Bițan is also part of the EU Member States Expert Group on Sustainable Finance under DG FISMA.
