JK Cement announced on 1 April 2026 that Nitish Chopra has been promoted to Group President and Business Head of its white cement division. Chopra, who joined the company in 2008, has held several senior leadership roles over the years, most recently serving as president and deputy business head.
The promotion comes as JK Cement reported mixed results for the December FY26 quarter. Net profit declined by 8.6 per cent year‑on‑year to INR 173.6 crore (US$20.9m), while revenue increased by 18.2 per cent to INR 3463.1 crore (US$417.5m).
The company expects Chopra’s appointment to further strengthen its position in the expanding white cement segment.
