About the Speaker
Scott Dickson graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 1990 and completed his MBA at Simon Fraser University in 1998. He worked in various industries before joining Lehigh Cement, where he held multiple roles over nine years. He then became the Operations Manager for Ocean Ready Mix in Vancouver. In 2004, he moved to Lehigh’s corporate office in Allentown, PA, and later assumed general management roles in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2010, he became Vice President of Technical Services for Lehigh Hanson. By 2014, he was Vice President and General Manager of Hanson Aggregates in Atlanta, Georgia, and in 2022, he was promoted to President Southeast Region for Heidelberg Materials.
In addition to his general management duties, Mr. Dickson leads the strategic development of supplementary cementitious materials for Heidelberg Materials North America. He is active in several industry associations, including the National Sand Stone and Gravel Association and the Carolina Ready Mix Concrete Association.
