Kisia Kimmons is the Technical Services Manager at Titan America for both Cement and Aggregates in the Mid-Atlantic. With a degree in civil engineering and over 25 years of expertise in construction materials and research, she specializes in materials laboratory and field testing management. Leveraging scientific research for product evaluation, development, promotion, and marketing, she effectively collaborates with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
Through her role in technical services, she has managed concrete paving projects with budgets exceeding $400M, acquiring significant expertise in concrete mix designs, production, and quality assurance. She has played a pivotal role in the implementation of lower carbon cements, including Portland Limestone Cement (PLC) and the next generation of Lower Carbon Cements, such as Type IT, driving industry acceptance and specification inclusion.
As an Employee Resource Group (ERG) Leader at Titan America, she has been instrumental in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
She has established and guided ERGs, set clear objectives, and provided a safe space for team members to share experiences and build networks.
