Mr. Peng has developed strategic and technical solutions to manage risks, capture opportunities and future-proof businesses for the past three decades. As the former Senior Vice President of Sustainability, Codes and Standards for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, he led efforts to decarbonize the concrete industry by 21% in seven years by launching the industry leading NRMCA Environmental Product Declaration Program and the Concrete Sustainability Council to meet international demand for new environmental reporting tools. Mr. Peng currently serves on the ACI 323 Low-Carbon Concrete Code and the ASHRAE 189.1 High Performance Green Buildings Standards committees developing new criteria for low-carbon materials. He is an award-winning advocate and collaborator on many Buy Clean policies in the U.S. with successful adoption of low-carbon legislation in California, Colorado, Washington, and Maryland.
