One of Felipe’s key contributions was serving as the chairman of the Sustainable Mobility Technical Group under the Brazilian Business Council For Sustainable Development (CEBDS). His hands-on experience is evident in his successful implementation of a carbon management program for one of Brazil’s largest fuel distribution companies, a project that covered all aspects from measurement and reporting to mitigation and carbon offsetting.

These efforts include foundational work towards the establishment of a regulated carbon market in Brazil. Felipe’s international experience is highlighted by his master thesis on the impact of the energy transition in the European electricity market, with a specific focus on the role of hydrogen for grid flexibility. This work, alongside an in-depth analysis of energy transition strategies in the eight biggest energy-consuming countries in the EU, shows Felipe’s ability to navigate complex global energy dynamics.
His industry experience spans across energy, fuel distribution, consumer goods, base industry, and agribusiness. Additionally, Felipe has contributed to the development of a guide for life cycle analysis studies of cellulose, showcasing his versatile skill set.
